Founded by former Division I athlete Nofar Hagag, the Academy opens in Tribeca with four specialized certifications designed to make Hagag’s Pilates method more accessible

Nofar Hagag, founder of the popular Pilates studio brand Nofar Method, has launched Nofar Method Academy, a new educational hub offering comprehensive Pilates certification programs.

For years, Hagag fielded requests from clients and practitioners seeking deeper knowledge of tools to better understand their workouts and bodies. The Academy has introduced four distinct courses that welcome participants at any level of practice.

“Movement has always been my language, and teaching my purpose,” Hagag said. “The Academy was created to give you the knowledge, confidence and power to elevate your Pilates practice. Together, we have the power to change lives, to inspire and to leave a lasting impact on every person we guide.”

More than 50,000 Pilates enthusiasts have already trained with the Nofar Method. Hagag, a former NCAA Division I water polo player, taught Pilates for over a decade in New York City while attending medical school before formally launching her method in 2019. She pivoted to virtual teaching during the pandemic and went on to open studios in NYC’s Flatiron and Tribeca neighborhoods, later expanding to Miami Beach in 2024.

The Academy’s inaugural curriculum, taught at the Tribeca studio, includes four specialized tracks. “The Art of Teaching Pilates: Nofar Method Full Certification” begins November 1, 2025, and runs through March 7, 2026, providing a complete foundation across Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, pre and postnatal instruction, and injury considerations.

A separate Cadillac Certification will take place from November 9 through December 7, 2025, focusing on therapeutic applications of this classical apparatus.

In early 2026, from February 1–8, the Pre and Postnatal Certification will deliver an intensive week-long program designed to support expecting and new mothers. Rounding out the schedule, a concentrated Anatomy and Alignment Certification will be held on November 7–8, 2025, emphasizing biomechanics and precise form. Graduates may also audition for the official Nofar Method Teacher Certification.
