The sportswear giant is increasing its investment in women’s running, bringing seven races to seven cities across the world in an immersive global event
Nike is bringing its After Dark Tour back for the second year in a row, staging women’s-only races in seven key cities across the globe.
The tour is meant to bring together female athletes while highlighting the power and unifying nature of the running community, with nighttime 10K and half marathon races that invite all women to push their limits.
Participants can expect 10Ks in London, Manila, Mumbai and Shanghai, and half marathons in LA, Mexico City and Sydney.
The brand took a decade hiatus from its global tour of women’s races, which took place between 2005 and 2015, reviving the concept last year with the launch of the After Dark Tour.
The decision to bring the worldwide event back came after the excited response to 2025’s tour, which attracted more than 50,000 women to seven races across five continents.

Nike’s goal of tapping into the women’s running community across all experience levels proved successful, with one-third of last year’s participants being first‑time racers, and almost half saying they signed up because they were drawn to a women‑oriented race experience.
Attendees will see Nike’s latest running, training and activewear innovations specifically made to enhance women’s performance, with the same performance technologies seen on the brand’s elite athletes available to everyday runners.
Hoping to set itself apart from traditional races, the tour brings immersive experiences with curated pre‑race events, high on‑course energy and post‑race celebrations.
Nike is following a rising trend of brands increasing their investments in women’s running, amid the ongoing running boom and rise of female participation in the sport.
Last year, Every Woman’s Marathon held its second annual women’s-only race, which saw major sponsors like Saucony and Rabbit investing bigger and bolder in the female side of the sport.
