Movember and Strava are on the move to raise money to shake up men’s health research and transform the world of wellness for men around the globe
This month, Movember has teamed up with Strava, the leading social fitness app, to call upon athletes to log 60 miles of activity across any and all sports. For each challenge completed, Strava will donate $1 to Movember. The 60-mile goal of Move for Movember is in memory of the 60 men the world loses to suicide every hour across the world. To participate, each person must join the challenge and complete their 60 miles in the month of November.
Since it was founded in 2003, Movember is a global community of members making a difference in mental health and suicide prevention, as well as in research solutions for prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects across the world, revolutionizing how health services reach and support men.
By jogging, swimming, cycling, or more, participants can make a lasting impact in the world of men’s health by participating in Move for Movember. Participants can also join family members or friends in a team and can cheer each other on virtually. When it comes to Move for Movember, the Mo the merrier.
