F45 Launches Contest To Find Social Media Talent

The Mark Wahlberg-backed functional fitness franchisor is looking to highlight selected “athletes” to create exercise and social media content

F45 Training is holding an open casting call for members and trainers to become part of its elite F45 Athlete Squad.

The selected F45 Athletes will be featured in F45TV content, on social media, at events and in studios, and will be compensated and hired by F45.

The functional fitness company says it’s looking for enthusiastic and creative people who deeply understand its brand. F45 will select eight to ten athletes from a pool of global applications. Those selected will be asked to travel to F45’s company headquarters to help create exercise and social media content and attend special events.

The current crop of F45 Athletes includes Olympic athlete Morgan Mitchell, adaptive athlete Noah Galloway, fitness specialist Tess Miller and recovery expert Cristina Chan.

“Given the dedication and commitment that our members and trainers show day in and day out, it only makes sense to draw upon the amazing and vast F45 community across more than 2,000 studios worldwide to select the next F45 Athletes who will go on to represent the brand in really major roles,” said Tom Dowd, F45 CEO. “Simply put, we’re looking for anyone part of the F45 family who (has) true passion for the effective approach to exercise we’re highly regarded for, with new experiences on the horizon for those selected.”

F45, which recently voluntarily delisted its common stock from the New York Stock Exchange amid financial challenges, is looking to change things up. The franchise brand recently refreshed its website and digital presence so guests and members will have a streamlined booking process and access to wellness lifestyle content.
