The Spanish activewear and gear brand will once again serve as the official apparel and footwear partner at CrossFit’s biggest stage

Velites is stepping deeper into CrossFit’s inner circle.

The fast-growing European performance brand has been named the official apparel, footwear, grips and jump rope partner of the 2026 CrossFit Games, expanding on its partnership from last year.

The deal sets Velites as the outfitter of choice for athletes, teams, staff, media and on-site personnel when the CrossFit Games head to San Jose, California, this summer.

Founded in 2015 in Spain, Velites has carved out a niche by designing gear specifically for athletic training, cutting its teeth with jump ropes before evolving into footwear, grips and performance apparel. The brand has also made investments into athlete testing and product R&D to meet the rigors of CrossFit training.

The move follows CrossFit’s overhaul of its partnerships strategy under Greg Schwartz, its vice president of global partnerships, who has taken cues from major U.S. pro sports leagues.

When CrossFit first tapped Velites as its official footwear and apparel partner in 2025, it marked a notable shift away from legacy giants like Reebok and Nobull, part of a broader push to elevate emerging global brands.

“One of the things that drove us to that partnership is Velites’ reach overseas,” Schwartz told ATN last June. “They’re very well known internationally, but here in the States, they’re not as recognized. Both sides saw this as a chance to make a real splash.”

The expanded partnership also stretches beyond the Games floor. Velites will serve as the presenting sponsor of Open Workout 26.2, set to be announced March 5 at CrossFit Black Edition in Cascais, Portugal.

“We’re so proud to once again be the official apparel and footwear sponsor for the 2026 Games,” Velites CEO Matías Hernandez said. “This partnership represents years of work, athlete collaboration and relentless focus on innovation. The CrossFit Games are the ultimate testing ground, and we’re honored to support the athletes who define what’s possible in our sport.”
