C4 Energy Launches $400,000 Initiative to Support Local Sports Teams This Summer
C4 Energy’s new Local Legends initiative commits $400,000 to community sports teams across the U.S., offering funding and resources to help athletes
Nutrabolt, the company behind C4 Energy, has announced a new effort to support community sports across the country. The C4 Local Legends initiative will provide $400,000 in funding to local teams, clubs and leagues during the summer months, aiming to help cover essentials like equipment, travel and registration fees.
The program is open to nominations from athletes who want to recognize a team that could benefit from additional support. Selected teams will receive a sponsorship package that includes financial assistance, product supplies and branded gear.
“At C4, we believe greatness isn’t limited to pros and podiums. It also lives in pickup games, summer leagues and early morning sessions when no one’s watching,” said Craig Lyon, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing at Nutrabolt. “This initiative is about providing meaningful support to local legends, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to perform at their best all summer long.”
This move comes alongside C4’s broader campaign to make high-performance resources more accessible to athletes at all levels, not just professionals. It also builds on the brand’s partnerships with NFL players Saquon Barkley, Bijan Robinson and CJ Stroud.
Coinciding with the launch of the Local Legends initiative, C4 is introducing a limited-edition Classic Lemonade Performance Energy drink. The new flavor contains 200mg of caffeine, CarnoSyn Beta-Alanine and no sugar. Like other C4 products, it’s NSF Certified for Sport, a designation used by many professional and competitive athletes.
The lemonade flavor will be available on C4Energy.com starting June 20 for $27.99 per case and at national retailers including Amazon beginning July 7. Availability is limited.
