A partnership with Zing Coach introduces player-inspired workouts, performance leaderboards and VIP incentives to PSG’s 500 million-strong global fanbase

Watching elite soccer is easy. Training like an elite player? That’s another story….and one Paris Saint-Germain now wants its fans to experience firsthand.

And for good reason. Despite the sport’s massive global audience of roughly five billion viewers, about one-third of the global population is physically inactive, according to PSG, one of the world’s top soccer clubs, and Zing Coach, an AI-powered fitness app backed by health tech company Palta.

The two have partnered through 2027 to give PSG fans a chance to explore adaptive training routines modeled after their favorite players, delivered through Zing Coach’s app. The new offering is included in the platform’s monthly subscription price.

The partnership follows Zing Coach’s $10 million Series A raise in 2024.

The gamified experience offers more than just a sweat. Top performers can unlock exclusive experiences and signed memorabilia, with the program launching today.

“At Paris Saint-Germain, we are constantly striving to create unique connections with our supporters around the world,” PSG chief revenue officer Richard Heaselgrave said. “By partnering with Zing Coach, we give our fans the opportunity to experience what it’s like to train like an elite athlete and to turn their passion for football into an active commitment to their well-being. This marks another step forward in diversifying our activities, as we continue to explore new territories beyond our professional sports.”

Users can also track their progress against PSG players, access guidance inspired by the club’s elite coaching staff and climb the leaderboard as they complete workouts.

While PSG brings the footballing pedigree, Zing Coach contributes its proprietary AI technology, tailoring workouts and motivation in real time to elevate the overall user experience.

“Partnering with Paris Saint-Germain – the most decorated club in the history of French football – offers access to a vast, global fanbase of potential users,” Zing Coach CEO Anton Marchanka said. “Creating a unique opportunity to connect with their club and explore daily workouts shaped around those of their favorite stars, we hope to motivate millions to take the first step in their physical health journey, but to pick up lasting habits that improve their health and quality of life.”
