Life Time Launches Reformer-Based Class at Select Clubs

Life Time, long attuned to member demand and the hottest fitness and wellness trends, is piloting an athletic Reformer class at seven of its high-end clubs
Life Time is piloting a new, on-trend group fitness Pilates class, tapping into the growing demand for Reformer-based workouts, the company shared in a recent Instagram post.
Dubbed CTR (short for Core.Tone.Reform), the class combines athletic conditioning with Pilates reformer work in a high-energy format. The program officially debuted at seven Life Time locations, including Lakeshore-Irvine in California, One Wall Street, Midtown and Penn 1 in New York, and three clubs in Minnesota and Illinois.
According to comments on the luxury athletic country club’s Instagram post, several users expressed enthusiasm for the pilot program and requested that the class be offered at additional Life Time locations.
“I just took this yesterday and I am obsessed,” one fitness influencer commented. The launch was celebrated with an invite-only preview and social event at Life Time Irvine’s Beach Club, complete with non-alcoholic LTH Mocktails.
CTR is now available to book for Signature Members via the Life Time app at the select pilot locations.
Life Time’s ability to stay attuned to what its members want has long been part of its operating playbook (and arguably its secret sauce), fueling waitlists and consistently high member engagement.

In recent months, the high-end lifestyle operator has introduced cold plunges at over 70 clubs and is launching exclusive wine tastings, immersive events and post-pickleball match celebrations through a partnership with FitVine, a better-for-you wine brand. On the digital front, Life Time’s free LT Digital app has grown to more than 2 million users, with a new content studio in New York supporting its expanding library of on-demand classes, wellness programs and curated content. The platform also serves as a gateway to LTH, Life Time’s growing supplement line. For longevity-focused members, the company’s Miora clinics offer personalized health optimization, including recovery services and weight loss therapies.
Life Time will report its Q2 2025 earnings results before the market opens on Tuesday, August 5.
