The U.K.-based AI education company will amplify the racing experience by leveraging data from 700,000 Hyrox finish times to create instant athlete profiling at the upcoming Cardiff and Barcelona events, under the tagline “Ambition Amplified.” The partnership will introduce two key features to the spring races, which marry data with mental and physical performance: The Athlete Profiler: Benchmarking individual performance against Cambridge Spark’s massive public dataset, athletes will receive an instant Athlete Profile, which provides a thorough breakdown identifying their strengths and specific areas for improvement. The Human in the Loop: This activation challenges participants cognitively to solve a complex puzzle while under physical strain, pulling from Cambridge Spark’s Leading with AI executive program, which helps leaders maintain precision and make high-stakes decisions under pressure. The Athlete Profile gives participants access to their percentile rankings against 700,000-plus official results, along with estimated target pacing for runs and stations and a four-week personalized training plan. “The Athlete Profiler isn’t just a stand activation; it’s a live proof of concept,” said Cambridge Spark chief operating officer Tom Phillips. “We wanted to show, not just say, what AI insight feels like when applied to something real. Whether you are optimising a global supply chain or your Sled Push, the principles of data fluency and rigorous analysis remain the same.” As Hyrox gears up for its key global races this spring, the brand is going all-in on partnerships across fitness and wellness. One of those is with connected fitness giant Peloton, which released a 12-week program to prepare its members for Hyrox’s upcoming two-week-long event in New York City, expected to be the largest North American race in the series’ history. In a similar vein, the fitness competition named Les Mills as its official group training partner, with the global group exercise brand giving operators access to new programs, in addition to Hyrox affiliation and the full Hyrox365 platform, as a preferential package. Hyrox is the latest fitness brand jumping into the AI revolution — Hotworx, the 24-hour infrared fitness studio franchise, recently launched TrainingTrax, its own AI-powered personal training platform, while gym operators including Vasa Fitness and New York Sports Club have made their own forays into AI-powered personal training apps.
