Jack Taylor, a global, full-service brand and communications agency, has appointed former Equinox chief operating officer Judy Turchin as its CEO.

During her tenure at the luxury lifestyle and wellness operator, Turchin scaled Equinox to more than 100 locations worldwide while leading a sizable sales team and overseeing its personal training and coaching business. Before Equinox, she held senior roles at Blackstone as chief administrative officer and chief compliance officer for its real estate group, during which the firm’s real estate assets grew tenfold. She also practiced real estate law at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz before becoming chief legal officer at Lehman Brothers’ Real Estate Private Equity division.

In her new leadership role at Jack Taylor, Turchin will oversee global operations, drive expansion into new and existing markets and develop new capabilities to broaden and enhance the agency’s expertise and services.

“Jack Taylor was founded on the belief that relentless entrepreneurial hustle combined with creative storytelling drives meaningful awareness and impact for innovative brands,” Jack Taylor founder Jon Bier said. Bier founded the agency in 2010.

“We are entering a golden era for our truth, and this is now a massive movement,” Bier continued. “Bringing Judy on board is like adding rocket fuel to what we’ve already built. She’s a powerhouse—her leadership, strategic vision and industry expertise make her the perfect fit to help us level up while staying true to who we are at our core.”
