Zumba Taps Kaitlyn Bristowe for Canada Anniversary Celebration
Zumba turned 20 in Canada with a Toronto celebration led by “Dancing With the Stars” winner Kaitlyn Bristowe, who joined co-founder Beto Perez and hundreds of instructors for a day of movement and music
Dance fitness leader Zumba celebrated its 20th anniversary in Canada this month with a high-energy celebration in Toronto led by Kaitlyn Bristowe, the “Dancing With the Stars” winner and former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” star.
The Canadian TV personality joined Zumba creator and co-founder Beto Perez on stage, leading several routines with more than 500 instructors from across the country.

Bristowe shared the experience with her followers on Instagram, writing, “I cried because it was so beautiful to watch so many humans, from all different walks of life, coming together with no judgment, just a love for dance and movement.”
Alberto Perlman, co-founder and CEO of Zumba, said the milestone underscored the company’s staying power in the fitness world.
“Twenty years in Canada proves a simple truth: when fitness is fun and inclusive, people keep coming back,” Perlman said. “We’re proud of what this community has built and excited for what’s next.”
In addition to its Canadian milestone, Zumba is relaunching its Zumba Cruise in March 2026 after a seven-year hiatus, turning the Norwegian Pearl into a floating fitness festival with workouts, wellness activations and performances.
