A new AI tool and flexible onboarding headline Wellhub’s latest effort to drive higher fitness and wellness engagement at work as Gen Z increasingly seeks corporate well-being perks
Wellhub has also rolled out WellhubAI, a new AI-powered wellness tool currently in beta.
The feature helps employees build personalized wellness plans and routines, offers recommendations tailored to individual goals and allows users to explore new areas such as sleep and nutrition.
The corporate wellness platform has also declared the moment “Wellness Season,” pitching flexible launch options that let new-to-Wellhub companies activate benefits immediately, track early enrollment and usage and decide how aggressively to scale from there.
The push comes as employers grapple with a generational shift in how workers engage with wellness. Wellhub’s State of Work-Life Wellness Report shows that Gen Z employees are not only reporting higher stress and burnout but are also more likely to use wellness apps regularly and to expect employer-backed access to mental and physical health tools.

“Wellness Season is when motivation is highest and when access and support make the difference between a resolution and a habit,” Wellhub co-founder and CEO Cesar Carvalho said, adding that the platform is known for driving three to five times higher enrollment than traditional wellness benefits.
Another initiative, International Check-ins, highlights Wellhub’s global footprint. The feature gives employees access to more than 100,000 partner gyms, studios and wellness providers across the countries where Wellhub operates, allowing members to maintain workout and mindfulness routines while traveling.
According to Wellhub, its corporate partnerships also provide a range of benefits for fitness operators, including improved retention, better off-peak capacity utilization and steadier cash flow compared with traditional consumer-driven acquisition models.
