The operator added seven new clubs and 335,000 new members in 2025 as it stakes its claim as one of the industry’s top HVLP gym brands

Vasa Fitness has had nothing short of a successful 2025, with unprecedented growth across the country.

The high-value low-price (HVLP) fitness operator wrapped up a year with seven new club openings across Colorado, Illinois and Nebraska, reaching 68 locations nationwide and expanding its total space by more than 412,000 square feet, with over 335,000 new members joining across all locations.

To round out its year of growth, Vasa opened two new locations in Boulder County, Colorado: Longmont and Lafayette, marking its 66th and 67th clubs, each over 55,000 square feet.

Its 68th club, located in Rockford, Illinois, opened just before the year’s end. The 60,000 square-foot facility features strength, cardio, recovery and community-based amenities, including a large free weights and cardio area, dedicated turf training zones, a performance lifting area, a variety of group fitness classes and a childcare center.

The Rockford club also features InBody scanning for personalized body composition insights and progress tracking, as well as its boutique-style Studio classes.

Additionally, Rockford members will have access to steam and sauna rooms, a hot tub, 25-yard, three-lane pool, red light therapy, massage lounge chairs and a half basketball court.

The premium comes after Vasa recently invested over $30 million into club upgrades, including new cardio and lower-body strength-training equipment. The operator also added a cold plunge tub to its Colorado Springs club.

As Vasa expands its community, it’s also buying into the trend of boutique fitness within a big-box gym model, with Colorado locations offering the brand’s three core studio experiences: Studio Red HIIT, Studio Flow infrared yoga and Studio LFT strength training.

Vasa’s boutique-style classes proved to be popular in 2025 as well, with more than 134,000 Studio classes hosting nearly 1.5 million total attendees, while traditional group fitness remained popular with 110,000 classes and 1.4 million attendees. Zumba remained the top-attended group fitness format, with over 230,000 participants.
