TRX Makes a Pickleball Push With The Picklr

The functional training brand has teamed up with one of North America’s fastest-growing indoor pickleball franchises to launch TRX-equipped mobility zones inside Picklr locations

TRX is bringing its yellow straps to the fastest-growing game in America: pickleball.

The functional training and education brand is jumping into the sport through a national partnership with The Picklr, an indoor pickleball franchise with more than 500 locations sold and 65 set to open by year’s end.

The partnership comes as both brands scale up. The Picklr, which last year closed a Series B round at a $59 million valuation, is leading the indoor facility boom, while TRX continues to expand through partnerships, most recently with BlazePod, a light-based reaction training company.

The move brings TRX’s gear and mobility programming to new Picklr Mobility Zones nationwide, giving players access to tools such as the original TRX Suspension Trainer, TRX Studio Line, TRX Rip Trainer, TRX YBells and HexGrip Functional Training Tools.

The Picklr Mobility Zones will begin rolling out in select clubs this fall, TRX said.

James Hurlock, The Picklr’s chief partnerships officer, said the collaboration with TRX unlocks a new layer of value and performance support for members.

“As we continue to grow and innovate within the pickleball community, adding TRX’s world-class gear and education aligns perfectly with our commitment to building the best pickleball experience in the world,” Hurlock said.

Picklr members will also gain access to exclusive TRX programming designed for pickleball, including mobility, strength and injury-prevention routines available through the TRX QuickStart web tool. Future content will include special appearances and training sessions led by top Picklr and TRX pros in the TRX app.

“We’re excited to see how pickleball players are using TRX to train for the sport they love,” TRX CEO Jack Daly said. “The Suspension Trainer is a go-anywhere tool that improves mobility, builds full-body strength and helps reduce injury—benefits that translate directly to better movement and longevity on the court. We’re proud to partner with The Picklr to bring that performance edge to their passionate player base.”

Beyond the U.S., The Picklr is expanding its reach overseas. The Drew Brees-backed franchise plans to open 50 indoor pickleball clubs across Australia and New Zealand, starting with a Sydney location led by TPM Partners, following The Picklr’s recent entries into Japan and Canada.
