Todd Durkin Promises ‘Epic’ Fitness Event at First-Ever Impact Summit
The Impact Summit aims to create impactful changes in attendees’ lives through expert-led sessions and a networking focus
The upcoming Impact Summit, organized by strength and conditioning coach Todd Durkin, founder of Fitness Quest 10 in San Diego, is set to gather fitness professionals and enthusiasts for a series of developmental sessions and networking opportunities.
Scheduled to coincide with the IDEA World Fitness Conference from July 11 to July 14, the event is intended to provide attendees with tools, resources and connections to enhance their personal and professional lives.
“For years, I’ve been thinking about hosting an epic event like this, but it hasn’t been the right time or the right opportunity until now,” said Durkin, who has trained NFL stars including Drew Brees and Jordan Love.
This year’s theme, “Be Iconic,” reflects Durkin’s commitment to serving in more impactful ways. Unlike previous events that were exclusive to his coaching program members, Durkin notes this summit is open to “anyone and everyone who wants to attend and who wants to be motivated, inspired, connect with an amazing network of people.”
Sessions on Key Topics
The summit promises a packed itinerary with a variety of sessions and activities, including topics on business, marketing, brand building and leadership, and more.
Key presentations will include the “True Strength” keynote, where Durkin will share insights from his new book, exploring how negative emotions can be transformed into a source of power and purpose.
The “Advanced Marketing Strategies” session will offer practical tips for brand-building and online engagement, providing tools and exercises to create more engagement and grow online.
“The Power of Coaching,” a panel discussion on the importance of coaching in achieving personal and professional goals, is also on the schedule.
“Having someone who understands your goals, helps you overcome your challenges, and keeps you accountable to your action steps is the ‘secret sauce’ that allows you to achieve and become all that you are meant to be,” Durkin emphasized.
Durkin highlighted the potential for attendees to experience tangible growth and success.
“The Impact Summit is focused on helping people get the tools, resources, knowledge and connections that will help them make their impact in the world,” he said, citing an example of a previous event where a conversation between two attendees led to the creation of a publishing group that has since helped over 250 people publish their books.

In addition to the professional development sessions, the summit will include several social events to foster networking and camaraderie.
“The power of networking cannot be underestimated,” Durkin said. “It’s not a mistake when I say that your ‘network is your net worth.’ We will have a room full of growth-minded, passionate and purpose-driven people who are searching for their next step in life and ready to collaborate.”
A welcome party on Thursday evening offers a chance to connect, and there will also be an opening night networking event, ensuring ample opportunities for attendees to build meaningful connections, which is a thread throughout the event.
“If you want or need an infusion of inspiration, energy and positivity in your life because you are tired of doing that for everyone else, but you don’t receive a ton yourself, you need to be in the room,” Durkin said.
Attendees will also have the chance to meet some of the biggest brands in health and fitness at the IDEA World Fitness & Nutrition Expo, including the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and Zumba. Additionally, attendees can earn continuing education units (CEUs) for professional development.
“There is something for everyone at this event, from brand building to marketing and podcasting to publishing, there is a strong professional component for anyone looking to grow their business,” Durkin said, including a focus on what’s ahead and how women are revolutionizing the industry.
