Spanx & Bala Team Up on Limited-Edition Capsule
The activewear and accessory brands have partnered to launch a collection of coordinated pieces designed for low-impact movement and everyday training
Spanx and Bala are joining forces for the first time, blending design with functional fitness equipment in a limited-edition capsule collection. The collaboration aligns with the Fall release of Spanx’s SPANXsmooth OnForm line: low-impact activewear designed for comfort and performance.
The capsule includes four Bala pieces: Bala Bands, 2lb Bala Bangles, The No-Slip High Socks and The Wavy Mat. All items are offered in Plum Berry and Orchid Ash, colors that echo the tones of Spanx’s Fall activewear line, which features new silhouettes like skorts, sports bras, leggings, dresses and tanks. The gear was designed to be used alongside the apparel.
The Bala Bands feature SPANXeffect levels, marking resistance with Spanx’s fit and feel scale, an internal compression guide shaped by the brand’s two-plus decades of product development. The Bangles and yoga mat are also stamped with “Shaped by Spanx,” the first time Bala has added messaging to its resistance bands.
Rather than pushing intensity, the collection is built around low-impact movement, recovery and everyday use, catering to those who want gear that fits seamlessly into an already busy day. The Spanx x Bala capsule will be available at Spanx.com and ShopBala.com starting August 5. A curated selection of SPANXSmooth OnForm apparel will also be available at Nordstrom.com and in select Nordstrom locations.
