The new products, released under the brand Purist, include third-party tested and NSF for Sport certified pre-workout, creatine, whey protein powder and hydration mix

REP Fitness, a home and commercial gym equipment provider, is stepping out of the fitness club and into nutrition, with the launch of a new supplement brand.

The brand, called Purist, is powered by REP and will offer performance-driven nutrition, appealing to those looking to boost their wellness and opt for products that have a more minimal ingredients list.

The products include pre-workout, creatine, whey protein powder and hydration mix, which all underwent third-party lab testing by NSF Sport certified for purity and banned substances. In addition, all products are certified plastic neutral.

“We saw a need for cleaner, smarter nutrition that matches the same standards our community expects from their equipment,” said REP co-founder Ryan McGrotty.

Purist was built for people like us — parents, professionals, and athletes who care about how we move, what we’re putting in our bodies and how we’re performing for tomorrow,” McGrotty added. “It’s premium nutrition without compromise.”

Here are some more details on the Purist lineup:

  • Whey Protein Isolate: 25g of protein per serving, a complete essential amino acid profile, no artificial ingredients, flavors, sweeteners or colors
  • Pre-workout: 175mg of caffeine per serving, plus beta-alanine, citrulline malate, taurine and nootropics to enhance focus, 0g sugar, no artificial ingredients, flavors, sweeteners or colors
  • Hydration: 800+mg of electrolytes per serving, 0g sugar, no artificial ingredients, flavors, sweeteners or colors
  • Creatine: powered by Creapure, with Chromax to support metabolism and body composition and no artificial ingredients, flavors, sweeteners or colors.

“Our focus for the brand is on transparency,” said Purist vice president of nutrition Connor Shehan.

“Our goal was to eliminate the unnecessary and deliver formulas that are as clean as they are effective,” Shehan explained. “Every ingredient serves a purpose, every formula is backed by science, and every product is tested by the same athletes and communities who trust REP in the gym. This is nutrition built to perform, not just impress.”

REP Fitness has been capitalizing on the strength training boom to grow its brand, expanding into Europe and revealing plans to release new, innovative equipment and add to its apparel lines.
