Planet Fitness Shares Full-Body Workout for Spring

Planet Fitness is giving members a chance to spring into strength with its new plate-loaded strength equipment
In honor of its new plate-loaded strength equipment and in a nod to the spring season, Planet Fitness is sharing a full-body workout for members that incorporates cardio.
With strength training a top fitness trend, Planet Fitness has been outfitting its gyms with new plate-loaded strength equipment (such as the Magnum Supine Bench Press, Hack Squat and Seated Calf Machine) to nearly all of its U.S. locations this year.
The high value, low-priced gym giant has also unveiled a limited-time deal through April 11, where new members can become Planet Fitness members for $1 down and $15 per month. Memberships include free fitness training with a certified fitness trainer and access to special deals and discounts through the PF Perks program.

- Kettlebell Shoulder Press to Halo: Press the kettlebell overhead, then rotate it around your head in a controlled motion to strengthen the shoulders and triceps
- Superset #2 (Quads & Glutes)
- Hack Squat: Position yourself in the hack squat machine, lower into a deep squat, and press back up, targeting the quads and glutes
- Kettlebell Romanian Deadlift to Goblet Squat: Hinge at the hips to lower the kettlebell while keeping a slight knee bend, then lift it to chest level and drop into a deep squat before standing back up

Planet Fitness opened 150 new clubs in 2024, closed the year with 19.7 million members and posted revenue growth of more than 10%.
“To further enhance the attractiveness of our returns for our franchisees, we rolled out a new economic model for opening and operating a Planet Fitness club and raised the new member Classic Card price for the first time in more than 25 years,” Planet Fitness CEO Colleen Keating said in February. “Additionally, we continue to make meaningful progress executing our strategic imperatives of redefining our brand, enhancing member experience, refining our product and optimizing our format and accelerating club openings. As consumers continue to prioritize health and wellness, we are well positioned to grow our brand, strengthen our industry-leading position, and ultimately deliver increased shareholder value.”
