Pause Studio Adding Aescape AI-Powered Massages to Locations Across US
Aescape’s autonomous massage tech will be coming to Pause locations in Southern California and Georgia, with additional rollouts planned soon
Pause Studio is deepening its partnership with Aescape to bring the brand’s AI-powered massage experiences to more Pause locations across the United States.
Beginning October 1, Aescape will launch at Pause Studio locations in Studio City, West Hollywood and Brentwood in Southern California, and East Cobb, Georgia (near Atlanta), with additional openings in West Nashville and Overland Park, Kansas, later this fall. More studios are expected to integrate the offering by the end of the year, with further rollouts planned into 2026.
The expansion follows a successful Los Angeles pilot that attracted celebrity clients like Kristen Bell. Pause is weaving Aescape into its portfolio of therapies, which includes float, contrast, cryotherapy, IV drips and more.
“At Pause, we’re always listening to our community and evolving our offerings to match their needs,” said John Klein, the co-founder and CEO of Pause Studio. “Massage has consistently been the top request from our clients, and through our partnership with Aescape, we’re introducing it in a way that feels premium yet approachable, and deeply complementary to the other transformative experiences that make Pause unique.”
Massage has been the most requested service in Pause’s client surveys for the past three years, according to the company. Using robotic arms and AI-driven body scanning technology, each Aescape session begins with a 3D scan that captures over a million data points, allowing guests to tailor pressure and focus areas through a touchscreen interface.

The partnership expansion comes as Pause Studio accelerates its broader growth. In late 2024, the company opened its first franchise in Newport Beach, California, marking the start of a nationwide rollout. Pause has also grown through brand collaborations, recently teaming with health screening company Prenuvo and recovery tech leader Hyperice to integrate innovative modalities into its offerings.
