Oura is deepening its focus on women’s health with the rollout of a redesigned Pregnancy Insights experience and the launch of its first-ever perimenopause feature. The updates build on the smart ring maker’s growing suite of reproductive health tools.

Available now, the updated Pregnancy Insights uses aggregate and de-identified member data to help mothers-to-be better understand how pregnancy affects their biometric patterns. The redesigned experience delivers gestational age tracking, weekly educational insights and a trimester-by-trimester trend view that contextualizes biometrics like body temperature, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV) and respiratory rate against population data.

Additional updates include a Pregnancy Aware Advisor, enabling members to discuss pregnancy within Oura’s in-app guidance tool for deeper education and support and Pregnancy Aware Cycle Insights, which display reproductive history and data before, during and after pregnancy in one streamlined view.

On Wednesday, Oura will also introduce its Perimenopause Check-In, designed to make an often-overlooked life stage more visible and actionable. The feature is accessible via Cycle Insights in the Oura App for U.S. members on iOS and Android.

Using the Menopause Rating Scale (MRS), a 12-question assessment, the tool quantifies symptom severity and its impact on quality of life. Members receive a severity-based results screen, a provider-ready PDF report with scoring trends and relevant cycle data and in-app access to expert care partners such as Evernow, Maven, Midi Health and Progyny.

“We’re expanding the Oura experience to better reflect the deeply personal and varied realities of women’s health,” said Holly Shelton, chief product officer at Oura. “From pregnancy to perimenopause, women undergo profound physiological changes that have too often been dismissed or misunderstood. For generations, many have faced these transitions without the knowledge, resources, or care they deserve, and we’re committed to changing that.”

The dual launch underscores Oura’s broader push into comprehensive health tracking, with the smart ring maker, valued at $5.2 billion, recently expanding into metabolic health and continuous glucose monitoring. These features allow members to visualize and understand how nutrition, activity, stress and sleep interact with glucose levels, moving beyond basic calorie and step counting toward a more holistic view of wellness.
