Omorpho has unveiled the G-Vest Icon, an adjustable weighted vest that expands on the brand’s MicroLoad technology for a customizable way to build strength and endurance

Omorpho, the Portland-based company known for its micro-weighted training gear, has introduced the G-Vest Icon, a fully adjustable version of its award-winning weighted vest. Designed for athletes and fitness enthusiasts seeking flexibility and comfort, the new vest lets users change resistance in seconds without bulky plates or sandbags.

The G-Vest Icon incorporates Omorpho’s MicroLoad design, distributing weight evenly across the body through small, high-density spheres to maintain natural biomechanics. With the addition of the brand’s new G-Pack inserts, users can double the vest’s resistance, up to 20 pounds for men and 12 pounds for women, with a snap-in system.

Omorpho’s approach to weighted vests focuses on fluid movement and accessibility, giving users the ability to gradually increase load for progressive strength and endurance gains.

“The launch of G-Vest Icon builds directly on feedback from our community,” said Stefan Olander, CEO of Omorpho. “People wanted the freedom to adjust weight easily while still experiencing the comfort and performance they expect from Omorpho.”

The G-Vest Icon comes in Ruby, Earth, Black Earth and Sand, with prices starting at $299 for women and $319 for men, or bundled with G-Pack inserts for $359 and $399, respectively.

Earlier this year, Omorpho became the official weighted vest partner of Orangetheory Fitness across the U.S. The partnership introduced a co-branded, orange-accented G-Vest to Orangetheory studios nationwide, highlighting the growing role of wearable resistance in functional and group fitness training.
