Closing a $10 million Series 3 funding round, led by investment firm ECP Growth, the company is looking to reinvest the capital into its product innovation in the trendiest functional wellness categories, including gut health, muscle recovery and sleep. “Consumers are increasingly prioritizing gut health, sleep, and muscle recovery,” said NextFoods CEO Marc Seguin. NextFoods’ flagship brands, Cheribundi and GoodBelly, offer nutrition products geared towards everyday wellness. Cheribundi is known for its tart cherry juice products, whose anti-inflammatory properties can boost muscle recovery and reduce soreness, in addition to its latest gummy launch, which provides the twofold benefits of improved sleep and recovery.
