Matrix Fitness Hire Signals Bigger Push Into Luxury Hotels

Clint Judd, Strategic Account Manager – Hospitality / Matrix Fitness
The commercial fitness brand’s premium Onyx Collection will be at the center of its expanded push into high-end hotels, spas and cruise lines

Matrix Fitness has named Clint Judd as its new strategic account manager for hospitality, an appointment that will support the commercial fitness brand’s presence in the luxury hospitality space across the U.S.

Judd, a seasoned executive with a background in fitness, wellness and client-driven sales, will spearhead partnerships with luxury hotel groups, spas and cruise lines to bring Matrix’s premium Onyx Collection to high-end operators looking to elevate the guest wellness experience.

The Onyx Collection includes a lineup of ultra-premium cardio machines, including a treadmill, Ascent Trainer, ClimbMill, upright cycle and recumbent cycle, designed specifically for high-end environments. Each unit features a 32-inch touchscreen console with immersive content and interactive controls, enabling operators to customize branding and messaging.

“Clint’s appointment reinforces our commitment to hospitality and specifically the luxury segment,” Matrix Fitness vice president of sales Monte Kleinmeyer said. “We’re confident he will play an important role in building long-term relationships and ensure our support aligns with their brand, design and wellness priorities.”

Judd’s role comes as Matrix deepens its foothold in the luxury hospitality space. Earlier this year, the fitness equipment company was named the official fitness partner of the International Luxury Hotel Association (ILHA) to offer guidance on emerging trends, fitness technology integration and wellness initiatives that cater to the needs of travelers.
