Heart Health Brand Humann Gets On-Field Branding in Deal With Texas Athletics

The Austin-based supplement maker becomes the first brand to feature its logo on Longhorn playing surfaces, extending a decade-long collaboration between the sides

University of Texas Athletics has entered into a multi-year agreement with Humann, an Austin-based maker of cardiovascular health supplements, making the brand the official cardiovascular supplement of the Longhorns.

Starting this month, Humann’s logo will appear on Texas Athletics’ playing surfaces across all sports venues, the first time another brand’s logo will feature in Longhorn stadiums and arenas.

The partnership formalizes a relationship that dates back more than a decade. Humann, founded in 2010 from a University of Texas Health Science Center research program, has provided supplements to Texas Athletics’ performance nutrition and dietetics program for over a decade. According to the university, that collaboration has supported training and recovery efforts across multiple sports and contributed to more than 20 national championships.

“What began with Texas researchers is now being used by our Sports Performance team to help our student-athletes perform better on the field and aiding Longhorn fans and people around the country to be at their best heart health for everyday life,” said Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte.

Humann’s origins can be traced to Nobel Laureate Dr. Ferid Murad, who joined the UT Health Science Center after receiving the 1998 Nobel Prize in Medicine for his research on nitric oxide and cardiovascular health. Findings from that program helped establish Humann, which has since expanded its science-backed product line, including its flagship SuperBeets. Dr. Murad became part of Humann’s science team in 2020.

Humann’s product line includes supplements spanning blood pressure, metabolism and blood sugar, energy and sport, cognitive support and functional wellness.

For fans, the most visible change will be Humann’s logo placement alongside the Longhorn logo at venues including Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium and Gregory Gymnasium, along with the Moody Center beginning in the 2026–27 basketball season.

The supplement brand will also activate on-site during major events such as football games and will receive coverage through the Longhorn Network.
