The decision was fueled in part by a recent Hilton survey, which found that the majority of travelers (90%) strive to maintain their wellness and fitness routines while traveling. The new in-room fitness experience builds on the integration of Peloton Bikes, which are featured in Hilton fitness centers and select Five Feet to Fitness rooms. “Travelers want hotel stays that fit their lifestyles—and that includes staying active on their terms,” Hilton vice president of wellness Amanda Al-Masri said. “At Hilton, we’re committed to setting guests up for success—helping them tackle their day with confidence and reinvigorating their stay with thoughtful, wellness-focused offerings. By integrating Peloton’s fitness content into our Connected Room platform, we’re giving guests a way to work out whenever and however they choose—without sacrificing comfort or convenience.” Hilton guests can choose from signature Peloton classes across several equipment-free fitness categories, including yoga, strength, barre, cardio, stretching, and Pilates. New classes will be added every six months to keep the offerings fresh, according to Peloton. “We’re proud to continue finding innovative ways to help new and existing Members prioritize their fitness goals wherever they go,” said Greg Hybl, senior vice president and general manager of Peloton for Business. “Through our expanded collaboration with Hilton, we are excited to provide travelers with the flexibility to practice their wellness routines on their own terms, directly from the comfort and privacy of their rooms.” Peter Stern/Credit: Peloton This past October, Peloton named Apple Fitness+ co-founder Peter Stern as its new president and CEO, who will serve as the company’s third chief since its 2012 launch.
