Apple Fitness+ Partners With GLP-1 Provider FuturHealth

The deal gives Futurhealth members access to workout and meditation content from Apple’s fitness platform at no additional cost
FuturHealth, a provider of personalized weight-loss solutions including GLP-1s, will offer Apple Fitness+ at no additional cost to members enrolled in a FuturHealth program.
The offer is intended to give users another resource to support their health goals.
“Our top priority has always been to help people on a weight loss journey experience real, long-lasting results through holistic lifestyle changes and personalized support,” said Luke Mahoney, co-founder and CEO of FuturHealth. “With this Fitness+ offer, users can tap into thousands of workouts and meditations — wherever and whenever they choose — at no extra cost.”
Apple Fitness+ provides workouts and meditations in 4K Ultra HD across 12 activity types, including strength, HIIT, treadmill, rowing, cycling, and yoga, with sessions lasting from five to 45 minutes. The service can be used on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, and offers additional features for Apple Watch users such as personalized, real-time metrics. Members can access the offer through the Apple Fitness+ module on the home screen of the FuturHealth app.
FuturHealth’s programs combine scientifically proven medications including Ozempic and semaglutide, along with nutrition plans and other lifestyle tools with guidance from doctors, dietitians and weight-loss specialists. The telehealth company operates a network of more than 350 providers in 48 states and reports having worked with over 1.5 million patients.
This announcement follows other company updates in 2025, including the addition of Affirm’s flexible payment options for members, a partnership with Valisure to verify the quality and safety standards of weight-loss medications, and the release of data indicating that combining the FuturHealth program with weight-loss treatments can enhance outcomes compared to medication alone.
The partnership comes as medical professionals increasingly recommend that people taking GLP-1 weight loss drugs engage in exercise, particularly strength training, to avoid losing muscle mass while on the medications. Analysts have estimated that the rise of GLP-1s presents a $6.8 billion opportunity for gyms and fitness studios in the United States.
