The golf entertainment brand is giving members access to the tenants-only private fitness and wellness space, blending its trademark simulators, duckpin bowling and sports bar with strength training, mindfulness and social connection
Five Iron Golf is challenging what a fitness space can look like, giving its members special access to a new tenants-only gym and wellness center inside the brand’s Rockefeller Center location at 1290 Avenue of the Americas.
The concept blends the brand’s Trackman golf simulators, duckpin bowling and full-service sports bar with a fitness and wellness center all under one roof.
Before diving into a round of the gamified golf experience, members can take advantage of the private wellness center through a secondary entrance located off the back of the Five Iron facility.

There, members will find strength and cardio equipment, free weights, recovery zones and showers, with amenities such as:
- Full fitness floor with cardio equipment
- Cable machines
- Squat machine
- Flat bench
- TRX system
- Resistance bands
- Stretching and mobility areas
The space also incorporates a multipurpose mindfulness space designed for yoga, guided fitness, mobility, stretching and functional training.
Once members wrap up their workouts, they can utilize full locker rooms, showers and towel service.

For Five Iron members, the facility’s hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Five Iron’s experimental concept plays into a growing demand for gyms and fitness centers that serve as third spaces for people to socialize while prioritizing their health. A new phenomenon, “soft clubbing,” became an emerging trend of 2025, with a growing number of Gen Z and Millennials looking to connect with wellness-centric activities instead of drinking alcohol.
