Crunch Rallies Nationwide With Augie’s Quest Fundraiser

Crunch Fitness is hosting a one-day, nationwide fundraiser on May 31 to support Augie’s Quest to Cure ALS, inviting both members and non-members to sweat for a cause
Crunch Fitness is putting its muscles where its mission is. On Saturday, May 31, the high-value, low-price gym chain will host a nationwide fundraiser across its Crunch Fitness, Crunch Select and Crunch Signature locations to support Augie’s Quest to Cure ALS, a nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for the neurodegenerative disease also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
The nonprofit was founded by fitness industry icon and Life Fitness founder Augie Nieto, who turned his 2005 ALS diagnosis into a mission to find a cure. Until his passing in February 2023, Nieto helped Augie’s Quest raise more than $200 million for the cause.
Open to both members and non-members from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Crunch will host a 90-minute “Love Your Muscles” class blending strength, core and mobility training with a high-energy 30-minute dance finale. A $20 donation secures a spot in the class, with every dollar going directly to the ALS research organization. For those who prefer to cheer from the sidelines, Crunch is also offering additional ways to donate.

The Love Your Muscles Class formats include:
- Love Your Muscles Augie’s Quest Fundraiser – (with Zumba)
- Love Your Muscles master class consists of three 20-minute segments combining strength with Stripped Down Strength, Tough Core with Tough 20, and the best of mobility and stretch with Joint Ventures.
