ABC Fitness Targets EMEA Growth With First-Ever Executive Hire in Region
ABC Fitness has tapped Dave Alstead to spearhead growth in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region
Fitness software giant ABC Fitness has appointed Dave Alstead as its first commercial director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa as it looks to expand its footprint across the region.
In the newly created role, Alstead will focus on accelerating growth, strengthening customer relationships and scaling ABC Fitness’ platform solutions for gyms, studios and enterprise operators.
Alstead marks ABC Fitness’ first executive-level hire in the EMEA region, although the software provider already has a sales team dedicated to the region.
“Dave’s passion for empowering fitness professionals and his proven leadership make him the perfect partner for our EMEA expansion,” ABC Fitness chief revenue officer Conor O’Loughlin said. “His ability to align customer-centered solutions with commercial strategy will be instrumental in bringing more operators into the ABC Fitness ecosystem.”
Alstead, who holds a bachelor’s degree in applied sports science and has worked across the health, wellness and fitness sector from small businesses to global enterprises, brings expertise in sales, team development and coaching. He said that joining ABC Fitness gives him the opportunity to pair his background with the company’s technology.

Alstead joins at a time when ABC Fitness is rolling out new products, including Click2Save, an AI-powered retention tool that helps gyms curb churn by engaging at-risk members with personalized offers and ABC Trainerize Business, a client management add-on that streamlines booking, payments and coaching for trainers.
