Xponential Fitness Strengthens Leadership Team
The boutique fitness and wellness franchisor has named four key executive appointments under CEO Mark King
Xponential Fitness has strengthened its executive team, naming four key appointments as the boutique fitness and wellness franchisor — which owns leading brands such as Club Pilates, Pure Barre and StretchLab — enters a new year.
John Kawaja has been promoted to president of North America, having previously served Xponential Fitness as its president of wholesale. Before joining Xponential, Kawaja was president at TaylorMade Golf Company and head of marketing for North America and Adidas Group.
Tim Weiderhoft has been named chief operating officer of North America, with prior roles as a chief operating officer and vice president of franchising for Central Bark USA and CEO of Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade, as well as vice president of franchise development at Massage Envy Franchising.
Kevin Beygi has been appointed chief technology officer, a newly created role at the boutique fitness and wellness franchisor. Beygi has served as director of data analytics, enablement and operations for Microsoft and has held senior advisory roles with The Walt Disney Company, MISO, Shell and Total Energies.
All three appointments went into effect on January 13.
Eric Simon has also been named Xponential’s chief development officer, a second newly created role at Xponential. Simon, who assumes his role on January 20. Simon comes to Xponential from The Joint Chiropractic, where he served as senior vice president of franchise sales and development. He’s also served as director of franchise development at AAMCO Transmission and Total Car Care and international development manager for The UPS Store.

Sarah Luna, widely recognized for her instrumental role in the growth of brands like Club Pilates and Pure Barre, departed Xponential Fitness last month. Luna had served as the franchisor’s president since 2021.
