Pause Studio Enters Growth Phase Amid Holisitic Wellness Boom
2025 is set to be a big year for the wellness and recovery franchisor, with 34 new locations expected to open
Pause Studio, a wellness and recovery studio concept, has opened its first franchise in Newport Beach, California, marking the start of a nationwide expansion. The brand has nearly 100 franchise licenses sold and 34 new locations slated to open in 2025.
The first franchise studio opened on October 26 under Jessica and Reegan Super. Two additional franchise locations are also opening this month—one just outside Marietta, Georgia, with partners Lisa and Evan Benson, and one in Tennessee with father-and-son team Mike and Zach Bailey, who are launching their first studio at Pause Green Hills in Nashville. The pair plan to develop multiple locations across the area.
Pause Studio offers several holistic wellness modalities, such as cryotherapy, float therapy, infrared sauna, contrast therapy, LED light therapy, IV drips and compression therapy.
“After 24 months of building a world-class team and supporting infrastructure for our franchise partners, this is a huge milestone, and we couldn’t be more proud of the progress we’ve made,” Pause co-founder John Klein said. “Our mission has always been to make wellness accessible to everyone, and this expansion marks the next phase in bringing that vision to life.”
Pause Studio is also ramping up its partnership efforts with wellness brands, such as health screening company Prenuvo and recovery tech brand Hyperice. Additional collaborations are in the works, the franchise confirms.
“Partnerships like these are key to our growth,” Pause Studio co-founder Jeff Ono said. “We are aligning with brands that share our commitment to improving lives through preventative methods. We are committed to these collaborations as they further enhance the Pause value proposition and continue our dedication to being the thought and innovation leader in the wellness space.”
