New Jazzercise Program Targets Menopausal Women

Muscle & Mobility: To celebrate the new Vital Sculpt HIIT, Jazzercise is streaming five free workouts this April
Jazzercise is helping perimenopausal and postmenopausal women dance to a new beat with the launch of Vital Sculpt HIIT — a new science-backed fitness program.
Inspired by the iconic dance fitness brand’s CEO and chief choreographer, Shanna Missett Nelson, Vital Sculpt HIIT is designed to preserve and build muscle mass, revitalize bone growth and improve mobility.
“I started noticing some body composition changes that I just couldn’t seem to correct despite moving a lot and eating well,” Missett Nelson said, reflecting on her own menopausal experience. “It was frustrating! So, I started researching what I needed to do to feel strong, energized and capable—not just now, but for years to come. As someone who’s spent my entire career in fitness, I knew this was something we needed to bring to Jazzercise.”

Program participants can expect heavy strength and HIIT training, multi-directional jump training and functional movement training.
Vital Sculpt HIIT is available both in-studio and via Jazzercise On-Demand. A handful of complimentary livestream classes are scheduled to kick off the program’s launch:
• April 7 – 3:30 p.m. PST (Launch event hosted by Missett Nelson)
• April 12 – 7:30 a.m. PST
• April 19 – 7:30 a.m. PST
• April 21 – 3:30 p.m. PST
• April 26 – 7:30 a.m. PST
“This is the future of women’s wellness, and I’m so excited for you to experience it,” Missett Nelson said. “You can get stronger. You can build endurance and muscle. And you can feel incredible in your body for decades to come. And because we always stay true to the heart of Jazzercise, you’ll actually have FUN while you do it.”
