In beta testing, athletes using Myoform’s DNA-personalized supplements reported up to 23.5% gains in physical performance, the startup says
Forget the guesswork in the supplement aisle. Myoform says your DNA holds the formula for peak performance.
The London-based precision nutrition startup has launched its genetically personalized supplement platform to more than 500 athletes and active consumers on its waitlist.
Myoform says its patent-pending platform combines whole-genome sequencing, biometric profiling and AI analysis to generate personalized supplement dosing to tackle nutrient gaps, support recovery and lower injury risk. In beta trials, participants reported performance gains of up to 23.5% across seven areas within three months, including aerobic capacity, recovery speed and strength endurance, according to the company.
Key features of the platform include a one-time at-home DNA test or integration with existing genetic data, a proprietary algorithm that generates individualized powdered supplements produced in-house with NSF/Informed Sport certified ingredients, and a companion app that delivers detailed health and training insights. Myoform also plans to introduce an optional blood biomarker test for deeper personalization, and says recommendations will evolve as new research, biomarkers and wearable data are integrated.
The launch begins with a controlled rollout to the company’s waitlist before expanding more broadly in the U.K. and U.S. later this year.
“The supplement aisle is crowded with generic products making questionable claims and underdosed ingredients,” Myoform founder and CEO Theo Wiley said. “We’re cutting through the noise by applying the same principles of precision medicine used in biotech to sports and performance. For the first time, consumers don’t just get data. They get direct, science-backed interventions they can feel, optimized for their biology.”
