The fast-growing HVLP gym chain also signed nine new leases during the quarter, bringing its pipeline to more than 225 locations open or in development

EoS Fitness continued its rapid expansion during the second quarter, opening nine gyms and signing leases for nine additional locations as the high-value, low-price (HVLP) chain deepened its presence in Texas and other key growth markets.

The Dallas-based fitness operator said Thursday it now has more than 225 gyms open or in development nationwide. Q2 openings spanned Arizona, California, Florida and Texas, including EoS’ first San Antonio location, which brought its Texas footprint to 30 clubs.

The company also signed new leases across Georgia, Texas and Utah, with Texas accounting for seven of the nine future locations, including additional clubs planned for San Antonio, The Woodlands, Garland and League City.

“Every new gym we open reflects our commitment to purposeful growth and delivering high-value fitness to more communities,” EoS Fitness CEO Rich Drengberg said. “We’re expanding with intention by entering the right markets, elevating the member experience and making it easier for more people to access premium equipment and amenities.”

Beyond adding new locations, EoS continued investing in its existing club base during the quarter. The company said it expanded deployment of its Gainiac AI platform and EGYM-powered Smart Strength equipment while preparing to introduce reformer Pilates across its clubs and upgrading additional amenities.

EoS has emerged as one of the fastest-growing operators in the booming HVLP segment, competing alongside chains like  Planet Fitness, Crunch Fitness, Chuze Fitness and Vasa Fitness.
