Eight Sleep isn’t snoozing on padel. Its latest partnership puts sleep recovery tech at the heart of the court

As padel gains momentum in the U.S., offering a faster-paced, more technical alternative for pickleball players looking to level up, sleep fitness company Eight Sleep is partnering with 6 Love Sports to relaunch and rebrand one of the sport’s leading women’s leagues as the Eight Sleep Miami Women’s Padel League by 6 Love Sports.

The rebranded league begins its next season on August 7, featuring more than 160 players across multiple divisions. To mark the new partnership, Eight Sleep will gift two new AI-powered, temperature-regulating, sleep-tracking Pod 5 systems to the winning team each season.

“We are all in,” 6 Love Sports founder Andi Neugarten said. “Padel is more than just a game—it’s a way of life. It’s healthy, social, addictive in the best way and deeply empowering. The women in our community train hard, support one another, and are building something extraordinary. Eight Sleep recognizes that power, and we’re thrilled to bring their revolutionary product into our world.”

Eight Sleep’s Pod 5 uses more than 10 million hours of sleep data to automatically adjust to an individual’s sleep environment. The system personalizes temperature based on biometric signals, provides gentle elevation and delivers soundscapes to support each stage of the sleep cycle without manual input.

“Pod 5 is the result of everything we’ve learned about how your environment impacts sleep, Eight Sleep co-founder and CEO Matteo Franceschetti said. “We’ve added new dimensions like zero-gravity positioning, personalized audio and real-time health checks, all powered by AI, to give users the most intelligent, restorative sleep possible.”
