Durant & Kleiman’s Boardroom Expands With Exclusive Club

Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman on a step and repeat.
Membership applications are now open for the Boardroom Members Club for entrepreneurs, athletes and investors

Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman’s Boardroom—the media brand they co-founded covering the business of sports and entertainment—has launched an exclusive membership community, aiming to welcome those in adjacent industries.

The new initiative, Boardroom Members Club, offers members direct access to the brand’s network of industry leaders, members-only networking events, an annual conference and entry to flagship events, including NBA and WNBA All-Star, the US Open and Art Basel, among other perks.

Kleiman told The Hollywood Reporter that he envisions the exclusive group attracting a diverse mix of members, from business graduates and young professionals in their mid-20s to industry veterans in their 40s and early 50s, such as individuals from companies like Goldman Sachs and Nike, as well as current and retired athletes and professionals in the private equity sector.

The concept comes at an exciting time in sports, where enthusiasm is surging—the same energy that fueled Out2Win, an AI-powered platform for athlete marketing intelligence, to secure $1.3 million in seed funding to enhance its data-driven insights for brands, agencies and universities seeking to maximize athlete partnerships. On another front, searches for the WNBA have surged 322%, stemming in part from the Caitlin Clark effect.

Applications for membership are now open ahead of the club’s official launch this June. The annual membership fee is $3,600.
