Barry’s Launches Its First-Ever Team Challenge

Barry's All Stars
The global fitness brand introduces Barry’s All Stars, a month-long initiative designed to bring members together through group workouts and a bit of friendly competition

After more than two decades of individual-focused workouts, Barry’s is introducing a team-based challenge: Barry’s All Stars. The move comes in response to what Barry’s says was the most requested format from its community: a structured way for members to work out together and drive towards a shared goal.

Barry’s All Stars launches April 4 and runs through May 3, with sign-ups currently open. Participants can join through teams of two or four and commit to completing a set number of classes over 30 days. Teams of two will aim for either 20 or 40 total classes, while teams of four will be challenged to complete 40 or 80. Those without a workout buddy will be matched by studios to a team.

The new format builds on a growing trend in the fitness world. A 2024 study from Strava found that 58% of respondents made new friends through fitness groups, and nearly half said social connection was their main reason for joining one in the first place.
