As the HSA/FSA movement ramps up, UnitedHealthcare is giving members access to discounted offerings spanning women’s health, nutrition, fitness, condition management and more

UnitedHealthcare, the nation’s largest insurer, is making it so members can click “add to cart” on their health perks with its new UHC Store, a digital marketplace where members can browse weight-loss programs, fitness and nutrition offerings, orthopedic management apps, women’s health resources and family planning tools, with savings of up to 15%.

Available inside the UnitedHealthcare app and on myuhc.com, UHC Store gives more than 6 million eligible members the option to shop the health and wellness offerings, with expansion planned to reach 18 million members by year-end. Exact details on specific possible products and programs haven’t been disclosed.

“Across UnitedHealthcare, we are listening to our members and clients to understand and address their expectations for health care,” UnitedHealthcare’s commercial business CEO Dan Kueter said. “We are developing solutions like UHC Store to drive positive change in the health system and improve people’s experience with the ability to supplement their health benefits year-round.”

The UHC Store sits alongside UnitedHealthcare’s other digital initiatives like UHC Hub, Smart Choice and Surest, which collectively cut costs, improve transparency and personalize care.

“By responding to consumer and employer needs with tech-enabled solutions to help people shop for health and wellness offerings, we aim to offer better access and improve member experiences,” UnitedHealthcare commercial business chief consumer officer Samantha Baker said.
