Peloton Partners with Costco for the Holidays
Peloton’s Bike+ will be sold at 300 U.S. Costco stores and on Costco.com as part of a pilot program that could see additional collaborations in the future
Peloton and Costco are teaming up for the holiday season to sell the connected fitness company’s Bike+ in 300 U.S. stores and on Costco.com.
The retail partnership kicks off November 1, where Costco members can purchase an exclusive Bike+ bundle through February 15, 2025, or while supplies last. The Bike+ will be self-assembled and will retail for $1,999 in-store and $2,199 online (including delivery). The purchase comes with a 48-month extended warranty.
“The Costco brand is incredibly powerful and respected in the U.S. and abroad,” Peloton’s chief emerging business officer Dion Camp said. “Costco members know they are shopping for high-quality products from trusted brands with the best value. We’re excited to learn from this first seasonal collaboration in the U.S. and hopefully expand distribution of Peloton products to new geographic markets with Costco in the future.”
The connected fitness company has been leaning into various partnerships, including one that rewards World of Hyatt travelers. Another recent collaboration with Truemed increases accessibility to Peloton fitness equipment, allowing consumers to use their pre-tax health savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA) to purchase the Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+ and Row.
Peloton is still searching for a permanent CEO following Barry McCarthy’s departure in May and is set to report its Q1 2025 earnings on October 31.
