The deal also positions the wearable giant as an official partner of the U.S. Soccer Federation and founding partner of the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center, while integrating the Oura Ring across the American soccer ecosystem to support athletes, coaches and staff across its 27 National Teams. Oura has long invested in American soccer, initiating its support of the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2020. U.S. Soccer is seeking to enhance how its athletes recover, train and perform as it invests in high-performance infrastructure. “U.S. Soccer represents excellence, ambition, and one of the most passionate communities in sports,” said Oura CEO Tom Hale. “With the FIFA World Cup on the horizon, we’re honored that Oura Ring was selected as its official wearable partner and to stand alongside U.S. Soccer during one of the most historic stretches of competition in the sport,” Hale added. “Oura gives players and staff a shared, data-driven language for readiness — bringing tools trusted by the world’s best athletes to everyone.” Across the entirety of U.S. Soccer, players, coaches and staff will have access to Oura’s continuous biometric insights into recovery, readiness and overall well-being to support daily training, optimize recovery and enhance gameday preparation. “Providing our players the tools they need to be at their best is core to the U.S. Way,” said U.S. Soccer CEO and general secretary, JT Batson. “Recovery, sleep, and overall wellbeing are essential to that approach,” Batson explained. “This partnership helps us better understand how our athletes are preparing and performing, and that’s a win for every one of our teams across U.S. Soccer.” U.S. Soccer plans to incorporate specific metrics Oura Rings track, like Sleep Score, Readiness Score and recovery data directly into its existing athlete monitoring systems, providing staff real-time insights into how players are responding to training load, travel and competitions. This enables staff to optimize performance by adjusting training load, managing travel fatigue and individualizing recovery strategies. Oura also joins U.S. Soccer as a founder partner of the new Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center opening in spring 2026, located south of Atlanta. The facility will serve as the homebase for all 27 teams and the central hub for American soccer, housing coach and referee education, high-performance research and community programming. Oura’s role at the National Training Center will help embed health and recovery insights into daily training straight from its opening day. Oura isn’t the only wellness wearable pushing into the world’s most popular sport — the move mirrors a recent deal secured by fellow wearable maker Whoop, which entered a major partnership with one of the biggest clubs in Europe: French professional soccer organization Paris Saint-Germain. The deal will run through 2029, naming Whoop a premium partner of the club’s men’s and women’s teams and its official health and fitness wearable. The smart ring company will equip players, coaches and staff across the organization with its biometric insights ahead of the U.S.-hosted World Cup As the...
