Mandos Lands $1M To Bring ‘No-BS’ Approach to Men’s Health

The men’s health movement is gaining muscle, with Mandos, Midlife Male Ventures and Gameday Men’s Health making sure no man’s left behind

Mandos, a digital health platform for men, has raised more than $1 million in a funding round led by Render Capital and Stone Mountain Ventures. The Kentucky-based startup has more than 25,000 customers and plans to use the capital to scale its offerings and accelerate product development.

Currently, Mandos provides treatment for common male-specific issues such as hair loss and erectile dysfunction. The company plans to expand into weight loss, hormone therapy and additional services in the near future.

“Too often health brands overlook the problems facing the average man, instead focusing on both genders and coastal audiences,” Mandos CEO Nick Phillips said. “Mandos is built for the ‘everyman’ —red-blooded, hard-working men. The ones who fix problems when the check engine light comes on. Our mission is to give men a no-BS, stigma-free approach to health that actually works for them.”

Mandos customers have access to flexible purchase options—including one-time, bulk and subscription plans—along with 24/7 concierge support, free shipping and discreet packaging. Plans are in the works to allow clients to use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for health-related purchases.

Mandos’ raise follows Midlife Male Ventures’ recent $1 million funding round for its male-focused ecosystem, which includes a weekly digital magazine that saw its subscriber base quadruple in Q4 2024.

While Mandos has carved out the telehealth niche for wellness-minded men, Gameday Men’s Health—a men’s clinic franchise—has named Dr. Haleem Mohammed as its new chief medical officer. The franchise recently expanded into New York City’s Upper East Side, offering clients testosterone replacement, peptides and vitamin therapies, erectile dysfunction treatment and medical weight loss programs.

“Men’s health has long been underserved, and Gameday is leading the charge to change that,” Dr. Mohammed said. “Gameday has already set the gold standard in concierge men’s healthcare. My focus will be ensuring that every clinic—both in the U.S. and internationally—delivers the highest level of medical excellence, patient-centered care, and transformative results.”
