JetSet Pilates Plants Flag in Chicagoland
With Illinois freshly ranked among the top states for Pilates lovers, JetSet Pilates is charting a bold expansion across greater Chicago
JetSet Pilates, a fast-growing Reformer Pilates franchise, has signed its first two deals in the Chicagoland area for Naperville and Winnetka. Looking ahead, the franchisor plans to open 10-15 studios across the greater Chicago area.
It’s the latest milestone for the Miami-based brand, which recently celebrated the sale of its 100th franchise since launching its network in 2022. Notably, recent data from Pilates Matters—a Pilates equipment and accessories retailer—ranked Illinois as the fourth most Pilates-obsessed state, behind New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
“Chicago offers a highly engaged fitness audience and a strong demand for boutique wellness experiences,” JetSet Pilates CEO Bert Albertse said. “It’s a city of diverse, tight-knit communities – each with its own personality, and we’re confident that JetSet’s elevated, consistent experience will resonate with the Chicagoland communities.”
Earlier this year, JetSet secured a strategic investment from Purchase Capital to support its expansion. The investment will also support a JetSet training academy and an elevated membership program, where franchisees can create a premium and customized experience for their local markets.
