The fast-growing sport of Padel takes center court at Kith Ivy, an upcoming members-only club in the West Village, which will pair rooftop courts and a luxury spa with Erewhon’s first NYC outpost
New York City is about to get its first mini taste of Erewhon, served with a helping of padel and a side of luxury wellness.
The celeb-frequented Los Angeles grocer will open a tonic bar inside Kith Ivy, a private members club from Kith founder Ronnie Fieg that places padel at the center of its identity. Slated to open later this fall at 120 Leroy Street in Manhattan’s West Village neighborhood, the club’s annual membership is described as extremely limited: reports put membership at $36,000 upfront, with $7,000 in annual dues.
Fieg announced the project on Instagram, describing it as the culmination of a long-held vision to expand Kith beyond retail into hospitality. He called Erewhon one of his “all-time favorite concepts,” confirming that the grocer will open its first East Coast outpost inside the club and feature a limited selection of items.
“When I first began imagining what a Kith club could look like in New York, my vision went far beyond sport,” Fieg wrote. “I wanted to create something rooted in community, culture and connection. Padel quickly became the centerpiece of that vision.”
On the courts, Kith has partnered with Wilson to build indoor and outdoor rooftop padel spaces and to launch a custom apparel and equipment collection. The rooftop will feature three enclosed courts with 35-foot ceilings and temperature regulation for year-round play.
“In recent years, I’ve fallen deeply in love with the game,” Fieg said. “With it came the idea to create something New York has never had: a members club that blends luxury, lifestyle and sport, while bringing together people who share a passion for competition and camaraderie.”
Fieg’s affinity for padel mirrors its rise across the U.S., where courts have grown from fewer than 30 in 2020 to more than 600 in 2024. A Syracuse University report projects that figure will explode to 30,000 by the end of the decade.

Fieg tapped longtime friend Michael Cayre, a hospitality veteran, to help bring the project to life. Beyond its padel offerings, members can expect a Giorgio Armani-designed spa with a hammam, sauna, massage rooms and cold plunge pools, a fitness center with cardio and weights, wellness treatments including Thai and Swedish massages, facials, IV drips and hydrotherapy and dining from Café Mogador.
For Erewhon, a brand built on $20+ smoothies, celebrity clientele and a premium wellness image, Kith Ivy sounds like a natural fit. While access will be limited to Kithy Ivy members, non-members within a select Manhattan radius of the club will be able to order Erewhon smoothies and juices through Postmates and Uber Eats.
