At the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show, Withings unveiled their most longevity-focused body assessment station yet in the Body Scan 2. The company’s booth at CES was among the most popular stops as attendees lined up for their chance to step on a giant version of the scale for an advanced assessment of their heart health and more than 60 other biomarkers in 90 seconds. (Wellness enthusiasts couldn’t help but being draw in by the booth’s larger-than-life heart beat sound effects, too.)
Priced at $599.95, the Withings Body Scan 2 is still undergoing FDA approval for heart metrics and is expected to launch in late spring or early summer. While the first gen ($499.95) of their multi-tasking device measures more than 40 biomarkers, the newest model adds more detailed cardiovascular, metabolic and cellular assessments, such as hypertension notifications, enhanced breakdowns of muscle and fat distribution, early detection of pre-diabetes and atrial fibrillation and glycemic impact and more.

Like its predecessor, the Body Scan 2 features a retractable handle and a tempered glass surface with stainless steel electrodes that measure biomarkers. Unlike the first model, the new handle is equipped with a high-res color screen that shows results, plus two buttons that allow users to answer lifestyle questions and get health coaching prompts. Under the hood, the Body Scan 2 features Impedance Cardiography (ICG) ad Bioimpedance Sectroscopy (BIS) for measuring visceral fat and cellular health and age. That data is used to create a Health Trajectory report, a “personalized predictive model that helps you track and visualize how your daily choices may affect your healthspan, providing actionable insights to motivate you to take action,” according to the brand.
Sedentary lifestyle, chronic stress, perimenopause and menopause, midlife visceral and abdominal fat gain and other factors are among those included in the report, and the device can also be used to track health during GLP-1 treatments.

Like Withings’ other smart scales, the Body Scan 2 syncs with the the Withings+ app (first month free, then $99.50 per year) to deliver AI-powered health insights, daily push notifications, clinical reviews by board-certified cardiologists and more personalized support. The device has a rechargable battery that lasts up to 15 months.
Per Withings, health data storage follows HIPAA and GDPR guidelines, and customers maintain full control of their information.
