PEAR Studio Can Help Studios & Fitness Facilities Bring The Best of Their Content to Users…Anywhere
Regardless of a fitness facility’s programming approach, PEAR® Studio provides members a seamless experience, whether they train in-studio or independently.
Earlier this month, PEAR®, a subscription-based platform which offers customers access to 2,000+ video movements, plus the ability for studios and users to upload their own proprietary content, announced the launch of PEAR Studio, a premium digital fitness platform for studio and fitness facilities.
PEAR Studio provides customers a visual workout experience that is flexible, rooted in building community and hyper focused on member retention. Given the prior success with similar hybrid platforms for partners such as Life Fitness, SPENGA, Chuze Fitness and Basecamp, the company launched PEAR Studio as a response to the demand from fitness operators seeking the most comprehensive multi-screen exercise guidance platform.
Dave Hannum, President & General Manager of PEAR Sports, explained the rationale for this launch: “PEAR Studio comes at the perfect time. People are slowly going back to in-person workouts, but there is a necessity for flexibility and connection if they decide to work out remotely. With PEAR Studio, we can now offer a customized, comprehensive visual workout experience and deliver it anywhere.”
What is great about PEAR Studio is that it works for whatever type or size facility one might operate, whether it be a boutique yoga studio or a larger gym. The platform is easily integrated into day-to-day operations. For example there is seamless set-up across all TVs, laptops, tablets and phones throughout a facility and members’ devices, and synchronized “start” and “stop” timed stations can be enabled using integrated timer controls. For in-studio, the app is able to display the same or different workouts on multiple TV screens throughout the space, resulting in a convenient way to organize stations and increase member motivation. From a user standpoint, the app only requires a smart TV or streaming device, is easy to use, and can be branded with the company’s logo and colors.
PEAR is just one more company that is putting investments towards supporting the hybrid fitness model. As with other fitness leaders, the team believes that this hybrid model is here to stay, regardless of where we are on the COVID-19 pandemic timeline.
