The latest Revive OB slip-ons bring an open-back approach to the brand’s bestselling bio foam recovery footwear

Kane is making it quicker to step into post-activity recovery with its latest launch.
The athlete-loved footwear brand has debuted the Revive OB ($78), a new open-backed version of its bestselling bio-based foam recovery shoe. Available in four colorways and in sizes M3/W5 to M17-W19, the style is engineered with the Revive line’s signature raised footbed that promotes blood flow, activates pressure points and encourages “smooth transferability and energy from heel to toes.” Similar to the heel-covered edition, the slip-ons are breathable and water-friendly, thanks to “exterior perforations act as interior channels that allow enhanced airflow,” per the brand.
Founded by former U.S. National Men’s Team lacrosse player John Gagliardi, Kane uses dual-density RestoreFoam made from regenerative Brazilian sugarcane, reducing carbon emissions and dependency on fossil fuels. The Connecticut-based brand is a Certified B Corporation and a member of 1% for the Planet, and Kane’s latest lineup of pro team clients includes the Kansas City Chiefs, the Los Angeles Clippers, and the New York Jets, Giants and Knicks.
“At Kane, we’re constantly in talks with top athletes in the NFL, NBA, and other professional
leagues,” Gagliardi explains in a release. “It’s their feedback that helps us to develop the recovery tools elite athletes depend on. The Revive OB originated in these discussions and was developed in collaboration with our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Daniel Geller. This is our intentional take on a footwear staple that doesn’t compromise recovery. We always seek to introduce high-quality, sustainable recovery shoes that are better for your feet and raise the bar for the recovery footwear industry.”
The Revive OB joins Kane’s classic Revive shoe ($80) with a heel hang loop, the rugged Revive AC ($125) that features an enclosed construction for all-terrain durability and a kids edition ($55) of the bestselling flagship silhouette.
