Life Time Adds Fitness Classes to App, Makes Play in Supplements

Life Time app
The luxury athletic country club operator has expanded its free app with 100 new on-demand fitness classes and meditation sessions and is also tackling consumer confusion around supplements

Life Time has introduced 100 new on-demand classes on its complimentary app, with 50 videos already available.

The instructor-led sessions range from five to 60 minutes and cover a variety of categories, including strength, cardio, stretching, warm-ups and cool-downs, yoga, barre, Pilates, active aging (designed for those 55 and older), and meditation.

“The release of our expanded on-demand library of classes and meditations, along with everything else included in our complimentary app, comes at a perfect time as we enter the holiday season with busy schedules, travel and maybe a little too much stress,” Life Time executive producer of digital programming Jayme Zylstra said. “No matter what category or style of class you’re looking for, we’ve got you covered with the great energy and instruction of our performers, great music, and ultimately a great workout that can fit into people’s daily routines.”

The luxury athletic country club operator—recently announcing its expansion into South Florida with a new club set to open in Boca Raton late next year—has also launched LTH, an expanded line of supplements and wellness products.

Life Time’s focus on supplements stems from a survey it commissioned, which found that 71% of adults feel overwhelmed by supplement options or confused by labeling. As part of the LTH line, the company offers a nutritional program that includes D.TOX—a 14-day, whole-food “reset” designed to help individuals establish healthier habits. The LTH line includes Nourish daily multivitamins and greens capsules, Rewind Collagen Elixir, and Revive Colostrum Powder. Other products are also in the works, including a caffeine-free pre-workout supplement, D.TOX protein snack bars, and cinnamon roll-flavored collagen peptides.

“There is no other company like Life Time that serves as a complete wellness partner with the best people, places, programs, product,s and experiences in healthy living, healthy aging, and healthy entertainment,” Life Time’s senior vice president Kimo Seymour said. “LTH goes well above and beyond regulatory standards with extreme attention to detail to all aspects of the products we offer. Our ingredients are carefully selected for quality, traceability, and rigorously NSF third-party tested to ensure a comprehensive, effective nutritional supplement offering for the entire family.”
