Jessica Biel Launches Kids Wellness Brand Kinderfarms

Actress Jessica Biel is the co-owner of Kinderfarms
Jessica Biel is on a mission to make wellness kinder for kids. The Cruel Summer producer’s Kinderfarms wellness brand is a “farmaceutical” company complete with products made to help kids feel great.

Jessica Biel is taking her business acumen from the restaurant business to vegan goods for kids. The former Au Fudge owner has established a new wellness brand called Kinderfarms. Touted as a “kinder farmaceutical company,” Kinderfarms is all about making clean health products for kids. A section of the company’s mission statement reads, “Our sole purpose as a company is to make kids feel better. But in a cleaner, kinder kind of way. So that the parents feel better too.” Biel teamed up with natural products product entrepreneur Jeremy Adams and co-founder Greg Willsey to create the Kinderfarms brand.

Products under the Kinderfarms umbrella are identified in four segments: Kinderlyte Original, Kinderlyte Advanced, Kinderlyte Liquids, and Kinderlyte Powders. Parents will be able to choose from a variety of healthy beverages for their children, from electrolyte solution drinks in different flavors to herbal immunity and sleep supplements. The crown jewel of Kinderfarms, called Kinderlyte, is now available in 25,000 stores such as Walgreens, Rite Aid, and CVS. Kinderlyte was made with the promise to help combat dehydration in kids and is all natural.

In addition, Kinderfarms plans to introduce Kindersprout, a plant-based organic protein shake which will debut on the Kinderfarms website and Amazon in August. Kindersprout is claimed to be allergen-friendly, packed with vitamins, minerals, and a whole lot of calcium.

Biel, who’s a mom herself to sons Silas (6) and Phineas (11 months), told PEOPLE in July that the idea of Kinderfarms was born after becoming exasperated by the lack of finding any wholesome pain-management teething products. She revealed, “You read the back of these labels and then when you start looking up what some of these things are, it doesn’t fit my values as a mom.” After connecting with Adams, Biel decided it was time to put Kinderfarms in motion.

“We just said, ‘You know, we can do better than this,” she began to explain. “It’s like once you have the information and then you start to research different ingredients, you start to think more about like, ‘Well, I wouldn’t put that in my body. Why would I put it in my kid’s body?’”
