Oceanfoam Inks Licensing Deal for Eco-Friendly Tidal Rollers
Created from algae and delivering a deep tissue massage, Oceanfoam’s agreement with Performance Solutions will have a major impact on the foam roller space, Oceanfoam’s founder says
Oceanfoam, a workout and active lifestyle products brand, has signed a licensing agreement with Performance Solutions, LLC, for its eco-conscious foam Tidal Rollers.
The 20″ x 5″ rollers are available in 28 colors and feature a firm, wave-like textured surface for deep tissue massage.
“We are excited to sign this licensing agreement with a company known for its extensive patent portfolio, allowing us to have a significant impact in the foam roller space,” Oceanfoam founder Zach Quinn said. “We are excited to produce and offer our innovative and eco-conscious Tidal Rollers to the market under Performance Solutions’ patents.”
Quinn developed the first foam roller made with algae, the fastest-growing plant on Earth, and is harvested with Bloom Materials, helping to clean the water supply. Oceanfoam says it is committed to sustainable materials and aims to become carbon neutral by the end of the year.
“Having Oceanfoam is another important step in licensing our technology for the deep tissue roller market,” said Kipp Dye, MSPT and manager of Performance Solutions.
Oceanfoam also sells a travel-size Ripple Roller, Wave Ball rollers, mats, and product bundles. The company sees great potential in the sustainable workout product space. According to Oceanfoam’s website, the startup sees future opportunities for growth in apparel, accessories and footwear.
