Bodyarmor Launches Flash IV Electrolyte Drink for Rapid Rehydration

Flash IV contains significantly more electrolytes than traditional sports drinks along with essential vitamins and minerals

Bodyarmor Sports Nutrition announced the launch of Bodyarmor Flash IV, which has over 2200mg of electrolytes, significantly more than traditional sports drinks, to promote rapid and sustained rehydration.

Building upon the success of Bodyarmor Sports Drink, Flash IV is designed with the same coconut water base and offers additional functionality, with essential vitamins and minerals like Zinc and Vitamins B and C to support a healthy immune system. Flash IV also contains no artificial flavors, sweeteners, or dyes, similar to other Bodyarmor Sports Drinks.

Flash IV was launched regionally in May, with plans for nationwide availability in retail stores and Amazon in 2024. The product will be in a 20oz square bottle, featuring vibrant-colored packaging.

Flash IV will launch in four flavors including Grape, Strawberry Kiwi, Orange and Tropical Punch.  For the launch, Bodyarmor has planned an extensive marketing campaign, with social media promotions, out-of-home advertising, retail activations, and sampling events across the United States.

Founded in 2011, Bodyarmor offers a sports drink packed with electrolytes, coconut water and antioxidants. Low in sodium and high in potassium, Bodyarmor contains natural flavors and sweeteners and no colors or dyes from artificial sources.

The brand has uniquely positioned itself as more natural than competitors like Gatorade, although some of the brand’s products contain just as much sugar as those of its competitors. The Coca-Cola Company fully acquired Bodyarmor in 2021.
